Forecaster Frank's College Six Picks
West Virginia 37 Texas 20
It's been a season of ups and downs in Tom Herman's first year as coach at Texas. The Longhorns at 5-5 still have work to do to get into a bowl game, needing to win at least one of their final two games to reach the minimum six wins. Both games will be tough, but this game in West Virginia will be extra tough as the #24 Mountaineers are a solid team at 7-3 led by quarterback Will Grier. Look for West Virginia to win this one easily.

Wisconsin 24 Michigan 16
Michigan who struggled on offense appears to be finally hitting their stride as they face their two toughest games at the end of the season. Wisconsin meanwhile needs to win out to assure themselves a spot in the FBS Playoffs, ranked #5, the committee doubts the quality of the Badges schedule. However, if they beat the Wolverines and win the Big Ten they will have to get into the semifinals. Wisconsin's defense has been spectacular all season, allowing over 20 points just once in 10 games. Look for the Badgers to frustrate Michigan all day in Madison on the way to another win.
Georgia 41 Kentucky 21
After a major letdown against Auburn, Georgia needs to bounce back in a big way if they are to get back in the championship picture. The Bulldogs will be home against a solid Kentucky team that comes into the game with a record of 7-3. The Wildcats though have not fared well against other teams with winning records. This one has Georgia blowout written all over it as they begin preparing for their biggest test in the SEC Championship Game.
NC State 38 Wake Forest 13
Two rivals from North Carolina that have quietly had quality seasons in the ACC meet, looking to secure a better bowl game. The Demon Deacons have an offense that can be explosive at times led by quarterback John Wolford. However, this week Wake Forest will be without star receiver Greg Dorch who suffered a season-ending knee injury. The Wolfpack have their own passing attack led by Ryan Finley. Look for NC State to continue to keep the pressure on Clemson, knowing if the Tigers slip up they can go to the ACC Championship.
Stanford 37 California 24
After a slow start, the Stanford Cardinal are playing their best football all season, winning six of their last seven games including a 30-22 upset win over Washington last week. A big factor in Stanford's surge is Bryce Love who is trying to make a late run at the Heisman. Last week Love had 30 carries for 166 yards with three scores, look for a similar big game this week as they beat their arch rivals from Berkeley.
USC 52 UCLA 40
The battle of Los Angeles is a battle of quarterbacks as UCLA's Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold of USC are expected to be at the top of the NFL Draft class. Neither team has had the big season that fans expected, but when they are on top of their game Rosen and Darnold can carry a team. The Bruins defense has been the cause of their demise, while Darnold has been prone to the costly turnover at times. Both losses the Trojans suffered this year came on the road, this game will be at the Coliseum where USC has been unbeaten. UCLA meanwhile is winless away from the Rose Bowl, look for USC to win and clinch a berth in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
