Forecaster Frank's College Six Picks
Ohio State 30 Michigan State 24
With their big game against Michigan, coming in two weeks, Ohio State needs to get back on track. The Buckeyes followed up a loss against Purdue by surviving a scare against Nebraska. Michigan State has weathered a tough schedule with three losses along the way. Last year, Ohio State slammed Sparty 48-3 in Columbus. With the game in East Lansing, Michigan State is looking to get revenge and to derail the Buckeyes Big Ten title hopes. The Spartans pass defense has struggled all year against top-notch quarterbacks; Dwayne Haskins would qualify as big passer and will have a big game, to get the Buckeyes the win.

Alabama 44 Mississippi State 10
Coming off their 29-0, Alabama is a bit banged up as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a knee injury and Najee Harris sprained his ankle. The fact that both were shaken up and both still had strong games against the #3 ranked LSU Tigers shows just how dominant the Crimson Tide have been. Mississippi State has had a good year but going into a Tuscaloosa seems like a nearly impossible task. The Tide have dominated both sides of the ball and will look to put this game away early to give their hobbled stars a chance to rest in the fourth quarter as they easily improve to 10-0.
Oklahoma 47 Oklahoma State 27
Bedlam arrives with Oklahoma State in the midst of a fairly disappointing season at 5-4. Oklahoma at 8-1 and ranked sixth still has hopes of getting in the College Football Playoff.  Each team has great deficiencies on defense and strong offenses. Oklahoma State was able to pick off Texas two weeks ago, knocking the Longhorns out of the top spot in the Big XII Conference. However, the Cowboys have lost three of their last four games with their defense getting smoked on a weekly basis. With Kyler Murray leading the way, look for the Sooner to put up big numbers again as they get the win at state bragging rights at home.

Oregon 24 Utah 20
Utah appeared to be in line to make a run at the Pac-12 championship before losing quarterback Tyler Huntley to a broken collarbone against Arizona State. Adding insult to injury the Utes lost the game and are now in the middle of the muddled conference championship race. Oregon has had their ups and downs, blowing a fourth-quarter lead at home to Stanford, while taking down Washington in overtime. This had all the makings of a classic quarterback showdown before the injury. While freshman Jason Shelley has shown promise he is still raw and will not be able to match Justin Herbert who makes the key fourth-quarter place to lead the Ducks to a victory.
Georgia 27 Auburn 24
With their win against Kentucky, Georgia has assured themselves of a rematch against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. If they are to make that game take one extra importance, they will need to avoid a slip up in the final three games. Of those games, this will be the biggest test as Auburn despite three losses earlier in the season, remains a powerhouse. This game will be a classic SEC death struggle with the lead in doubt all night. In the end, the Bulldogs have the better players and will get the win, but it will take all 60 minutes to decide it as the play of Jake Fromm at quarterback will be the difference.
Clemson 31 Boston College 17
Coming off a 77-16 ravaging of Louisville, the stock futures are high on Clemson as they are ranked second and appear to be on a collision course with Alabama. Boston College is quietly having a great season with a record of 7-2, as they have not lost at home. With the ESPN College GameDay crew rolling into Chestnut Hill, the Tigers could be in for a tough test, as the Eagles will bring their best with a solid defense that will keep them in the game. Ultimately Clemson will win the game, but they will leave Boston knowing they faced one of the toughest games of their season.
