WEEK 7
Oklahoma 44 Texas 37
This matchup was so fun last year they did it twice, as Texas won the traditional Red River Shootout, while Oklahoma won the rematch in the Big XII Championship Game. The way the Big XII is structured, a second meeting is likely to happen again this season as the two programs are the best in the conference. The bad news for the Longhorns is they get Oklahoma without being at full strength on defense. Which is never a good position to be against the Sooners. Look for Jalen Hurts to get some Heisman buzz as Oklahoma wins a high scoring affair.

Clemson 54 Florida State 10
Since struggling in the first few weeks, Florida State has shown signs of improvement as they come into this game at 3-2. Clemson meanwhile has struggled at times but remain unbeaten despite Trevor Lawrence having a sophomore slump. Look for the Tigers coming off a bye week to come out with renewed strength and lay it down up the Seminoles. This one will be over well before halftime as Clemson make a statement at home.
Alabama 34 Texas A&M 24
Texas A&M has become the team of the almost upset as they have twice pushed Clemson and pushed LSU only to fall short in the end. Now they face #1 Alabama, who has again rolled over everyone that they have played. The Aggies are the first real test for the Tide this year and can throw a real scare, especially if Alabama is not at their sharpest level. In the end, Alabama will get the win, but Texas A&M will be close until the end of the game.

Iowa 17 Penn State 13
Two teams that can play defense meet with hopes of moving up in the Big Ten hierarchy. Look for this one to be low scoring as Iowa hopes to bounce back from their battle with Michigan. The Hawkeyes will get a boost by playing this one at home. The Nittany Lions defense can get after the quarterback, which could be bad news for Nate Stanley. However, the Hawkeyes defense could force turnovers, and that is where this one will be decided.

Notre Dame 45 USC 20
USC has shown some resilience this season as they have had trouble keeping their quarterbacks healthy. Things get tougher now as the Trojans head into South Bend for a showdown with Notre Dame. The Irish have bounced back nicely since their loss in Georgia, as Ian Book has found his groove. Look for Notre Dame to take control of this game early as USC just does not have the horses to keep with the Irish.

+10½
LSU 31 Florida 20
The Florida Gators have come back into the National Prominence, winning their first six games and entering the Top Ten. However, in the SEC, that just makes them another team as the conference has become stronger than ever. The Gators already managed a win over Auburn at home, but now face an even greater challenge with LSU in Baton Rouge.
