47 Points For The Birthday Boy
On Monday night, the Warriors welcomed the Wizards to the Chase Center. It was Steph Curry’s 34th birthday, and he had himself a game. Golden State’s Draymond Green rejoined the team by the Bay’s lineup for the first time since January as well.
The night was all about Curry though, as he had 47 points on 16-25 shooting. D.C. hung in the game for the most part, with Kristaps Porzingis leading the way for the away team putting in 25 points. The win is the Warrior’s 4th straight. Green’s addition should steady the ship for the Western Conference team that’s recently gone through a rocky patch in their season.
As for the Wizards, they’re now 29-38, and in a place no team really wants to be. Stuck between mediocrity and a rebuild.
