A Rocket Mortgage Melee

Two playoff teams squared off against each other in Cleveland on Thursday evening. The Grizzlies came into the game losers of their last 7 of 8, while the Cavs have been fairly inconsistently, unable to string together since January 4th.

In a game that the Cavs won by a score of 128-113, the contest will be remembered for an on the floor skirmish between Aarons Brooks and Donovan Mitchell. Brooks, the Memphis swingman hit Mitchell in the ground, causing the Louisville product to response. As benches cleared there were more words exchanged then pushes or punches thrown.

With both players ejected, Darius Garland carried the load with 32 points on the night. Both teams have split the regular season series at a game a piece. Leaving them to only be able to meet again in the NBA Finals. An intriguing matchup to say the least. However, both teams have work to do to truly compete in their respective conferences.
