Bucks Bounce Back Behind Giannis

Wednesday night saw two teams headed in opposite directions, literally.  The Lakers began a 5-game road stand in Milwaukee, and the Bucks kicked off a 5-game home stand against LA.

The Lebron-less Lakers have struggled to find their footing in the 2021-2022 season.  Giannis and the Bucks have as well, as injuries and new additions have taken time to gel.

Kris Middleton was back in reigning champ’s lineup, and provided cohesion, as Giannis went for 47 points, and took home the win 109-102.  Talen Horton-Tucker led the Lakers in minutes, and points with 25, but it wasn’t enough for the rudderless Lakers.

The Lakers are now .500 at 8-8 and will head to Boston to take on the Celtics Friday night.  Milwaukee is 7-8, and will welcome the Thunder on Friday night as well.
