Butker Bumps K.C. to 4-4
The defending AFC champion Chiefs squeaked by the Giants on Monday night football. In a choppy game, New York kept it close, and had the lead multiple times through the game. Kansas City continues to sputter on offense, and defense, but ultimately got the job done to scrape back to .500 with an overall record of 4-4. Harrison Butker split the uprights late in the 4th quarter to seal the 20-17 victory.
The Giants fall to 2-6 with the loss, and will need to put together a string of wins to get back into the playoff picture. Week 9 sees the Chiefs host another game, but this time the 7-1 Packers come to town, while the Giants will host the upstart Las Vegas Raiders.
