Chiefs Chase Down One Seed In AFC
On Thursday Night Football, the Kansas City Chiefs won their 7th straight game, and improved their overall record to 10-4 with a 34-28 victory. The Chiefs got off to an usual shaky start to begin the 2021 season, but have since righted the ship. While dropping their first game to division foe; the Chargers, K.C. hit back last night in SoFi Stadium.
In a back and forth game, that eventually went to overtime, the Chargers will rue their opportunities to not take home the W. In extra time, Patrick Mahomes threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce to clinch the game. It was a record night for the Pro Bowl Tight End as Kelce ended up with 191 receiving yards.
Los Angeles’ defense has struggled the entire season. While flashing at times, they continue to lack consistency. The Chargers fall to 8-6 on the season, and are still in the mix for a Wild Card spot.
