Denver Does It In OT

On Wednesday Night the Clippers took on Western Conference foe, the Denver Nuggets.  Led by star forward, Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets won the game 130-128 in overtime.  Jokic posted 49 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.  The filled box score is nothing new to Jokic, as it was his 3rd straight triple double, and 10th overall on the season.

The win takes Denver to 23-20 on the season, the Nuggets haven’t quite found their rhythm this year, and are still feeling the impact of Jamal Murray’s absence.  The Clippers will be forced to look in the mirror as they gave up a 25 point lead in the 3rd quarter.  LA is now 22-24, and without Paul George due to injury, will do well to keep within striking distance of a play-in game spot.

In an overall entertaining game, both teams are still searching for consistency before the All-Star break.  Denver will now host Memphis on Friday, while the Clippers will play the 76ers on the same night as well.
