Heated In Miami
The Golden State Warriors traveled to Miami on the second night of a back to back, and beat the Heat 118-104. In what was essentially a scheduled rest game for the majority of the Warriors starting lineup, they weren’t expected to win, having lost the previous three in a row.
Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Steph Curry were all out due to rest and/or injury for the away team. Jordan Poole led the way for Golden State with 30 points. The moment of the game came when the Heat bench erupted as tempers flared regarding their uninspired play.
Jimmy Butler, Udonis Haslem, and head coach Erik Spoelstra exchanged words as the game slipped away from the current 1st place Eastern Conference club. It’s Miami’s second straight loss, for a team that’s used to winning quite regularly.
Miami will get an opportunity to right the ship on Friday as they welcome the Knicks.
