Saturday night Utah traveled to the Capital One Arena, and beat the Wizards 123-98.  It’s the Jazz’s 7th win in a row, and takes them to a 19-7 overall record.  Washington came into the game at 15-11, with the loss they move from the 5th seed to the 7th in the Eastern Conference.

All-Star Donovan Mitchell poured in a cool 28 for Utah. This iteration of the Jazz know regular season success well, but will be officially judged off of how they do in the playoffs this year.  The Wizards have overachieved to put themselves in a position to make the postseason, but don’t want to lose the good momentum they’ve built to this point.

D.C. takes a road trip to Denver to play the Nuggets on Monday.  While the Jazz welcome the Clippers to Salt Lake City Wednesday.
