LeBron’s Lake Show
On a jammed packed Saturday night of sports, LeBron James and the struggling Lakers welcomed Steph Curry and the Warriors to Los Angeles.
Losers of their last four, the Lakers were more than desperate to grind out a victory, and they did just that behind LeBron’s 56 point night. In another game without Anthony Davis, James shouldered the brunt of Los Angeles’ scoring and playmaking. “The King” also posted 10 rebounds and 3 assists in addition to his high scoring night.
For Golden State, Steph Curry carried the bulk of the scoring as usual, with 30 points. Guard, Jordan Poole also chipped in with 23 points. However, Klay Thompson’s shot 3-13 with only 7 points. Without Draymond Green, the Warriors will need Thompson to hit a higher level of consistency in his play.
The night belonged to LeBron though. In his highest scoring game as a Laker, Los Angeles will hope this performance can be the spark they need to put together a run of winning basketball.
