Magic’s Man

The Boston Celtics traveled to the Amway Center in Orlando looking to extend their 9 game winning streak on Monday night. Orlando, who’ve looked like their rebuild could be taking shape this year, put an end to Boston’s run, beating the top seed in the East by a score of 113-98.

The number 1 overall pick in last year’s draft, Paolo Banchero continues to impress, as he had a team high 23 points for the Magic, and is averaging 20.7 ppg. The story of the night centered around another one of Orlando’s former 1st round picks, Jonathan Isaac. Having not played a game in over 900 days due to serious injuries, Isaac returned to the floor, and played 10 minutes, scoring 10 points.

The Magic will be hoping their feel good story can morph into more feel good moments on the court. Their next opportunity will come at home Wednesday night, as they welcome the Pacers to Orlando.
