On Tuesday night Clayton Kershaw provided the LA Dodgers 7 innings of shutout baseball, blanking the Diamondbacks in Arizona, and clinching the NL West division for LA.

Going into the game with a 20.5 game lead over San Diego, there was never a doubt if the Dodgers would win the division, only a question of when. LA’s lineup has proved time and time again to be formidable.

Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, and Joey Gallo all homered for LA in the 4-0 victory. For the time being, LA’s skipper Dave Roberts biggest concern will be health, and beginning the postseason in form for whoever they face. As for their eventual playoff opponent, they’ll be well aware of the danger the Dodgers’ possess.
