Nuggets Nab Another W

The Miami Heat have struggled to keep their head’s above water within the Eastern Conference. Traveling to Ball Arena to square off against the current Western Conference 1 seed in the Denver Nuggets didn’t help their cause either.

The two-time reigning MVP in Nikola Jokic collected another triple double, as the big-man filled the box score with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists. Miami clung to a lead late in the 4th, but the combination of Jokic and Jamal Murray proved to be too much for Erik Spoelstra’s squad.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has a team high 20 points for Denver, another sign that their roster depth is a-top of the league. As for Miami, they desperately need to find some type of answer on defense and offense if they want to even make the play-in games this season.
