One Win Away

On Friday night the Padres played their first postseason game in front of the Petco Park faithful. In what was a low scoring game, San Diego won 2-1 and is now 1 win away from the NLCS.

It’s the first time the Padres have won a postseason game at Petco Park since 2004. Jake Cronenworth continued to perform at the plate delivering a first inning RBI, and Trent Grisham homered to seal the deal for San Diego.

The Padres starting pitching and their bullpen have combined to stifle the potent Dodgers’ lineup. The win for San Diego takes them one win away from the NLCS, and after Joe Musgrove’s impressive performance at Citi Field, he’ll get the ball on Saturday night with a chance to send LA packing.
