The streaking Orioles 10-game win streak ended Friday, and the team from the Charm City, had another put to rest on Saturday as well. Rookie catcher, Adley Rutschman provided a pinch-hit homer, and a sac-fly to lift the O’s past the Rays in Tampa Bay.

The win produced the Orioles 11th out of 12 games, and halted a 10-game losing streak at Tropicana Field. Jorge Lopez grabbed the win in the game pitching 2 innings with 3 strikeouts.

At 50-41, the Rays are still firmly in the mix for a wild card spot, but will rue their chances in the game as they went 1 for 11 with runners in scoring position. Currently, all 5 teams within the AL East are above .500. The Orioles and Rays will continue their series Sunday at 1:40pm Eastern Time.
