The Luka Show

Having returned rather quickly to the lineup, MVP candidate, Luka Doncic put on a show for his home crowd in Dallas on Monday night. The All-Star playmaker poured in 53 points for the Mavs, as they defeated the Pistons 111-105.

The performance, and presence of Doncic was required by Dallas, as they came into the game 0-6 without him on the floor. Detroit’s Bojan Bogdanovic continued his above average play for a below average team, as he has 29 points in the game. Bogdanovic continues to be a coveted trade deadline asset for a team that’s looking to add one more piece before a postseason run.

At 27-25, Luka has been able to keep Dallas afloat in the Western Conference. While key contributor, Christian Wood has been out injured, the Mavs need all members of the squad to be firing on all cylinders if they want to repeat their playoff run of last season.
