In South Bend, fans are partying like it is 1988, as #4 Notre Dame stunned #1 Clemson 47-40 in double overtime. The Irish had control of the game early as Kyren Williams scored a touchdown on a 65-yard run in the first minute of the game. Notre Dame would build a 23-10 lead with the help of two turnovers. The Tigers playing with Trevor Lawrence took over in the third quarter as  D.J. Uiagalelei overcame the first-half mistakes. Clemson battled back to tie the game in the third and took the lead in the fourth quarter. However, Notre Dame responded and tied the game with 22 seconds left. In overtime, Notre Dame got a pair of touchdowns from Williams, while the Irish defense with the lead sacked Uiagalelei twice. It is the first time since 1993 that Notre Dame beat the top-ranked team
