Winnipeg Falls In OT Again

On Wednesday night two Central Division teams close in the standings clashed in Dallas.  It was the 4th straight game that both teams played to overtime, or a shootout.  Coming from behind the Stars bested the Jets 3-2 in the extra period.

Winnipeg took a first period lead with a goal from Blake Wheeler, and held that slim lead until Jamie Benn leveled the scoresheet late into the second period.  With both teams putting one past the net minders in the third, the game headed to the extra period.

Within one minute of overtime, Tyler Seguin slid the puck past the goalline, and it was quickly cleared by the Jets. However, after review the puck clearly crossed the line, and was ruled a goal.  The Stars are now 10-2 in games that have gone to overtime, and shootouts.
