Friday was the first official day for workouts in Major League Baseball. The season is scheduled to start in three weeks, players and staff will be tested for COVID throughout the season. During intake testing, 31 players tested positive for the virus or antibodies. Players who test positive will not have their names released but will be listed on the injured list until they are virus free and can return to the team. Such is the sports world in 2020 when normal is far from normal, as they juggle social distancing and getting the 60-game season done.
