The Cleveland Browns beat the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime 29-26 at Riverfront Stadium. Down ten, late in the fourth quarter, the Bengals rallied to tie the game with the help of an on-side-kick. The Browns winning score was set up by a Jeff Hill interception, as Matt Stover won the game with a 28-yard field goal. The Browns would announce a move to Baltimore a week later and won just one game the rest of the season, finishing at 5-11.
