It is the first time a Stanley Cup Final went seven games and the first time a team rallied from a 3-0 deficit. The Red Wings held a 1-0 lead at the start of the third period, but Toronto took the lead on goals by Sweeny Schriner and Pete Langelle two minutes apart.
