The Philadelphia Flyers become the third team in NHL history to win a seven-game series after trailing 3-0. Much like the series, the Flyers trailed 3-0 in Game 7 against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden. The Flyers would win the game 4-3, as Simon Gagne netted a power-play goal with 7:08 left in regulation. The Flyers would go on to play in the Stanley Cup Finals, losing to the Chicago Blackhawks.
