Conference Finals

Going into the playoffs the Timberwolves had not won a playoff series and now they are in the Western Conference Finals along the way Kevin Garnett grew up and learned how to win, justifying his MVP season. However the Lakers have been there done that for the Wolves greater things may be ahead in 2005 or 2006, but for the Lakers the time is now.

The man in the middle of this series is Pacers Coach Rick Carlisle who led the Pistons to the Conference Finals last year only to be swept, beating his old team would beat sweet revenge. If the Pistons are going to win they need to shut down the Pacers in Indiana. That will end up being a problem look for the home team to win all 7 games as the Pacers emerge as the beast of the least, as NBA runner-ups.
