Second Round

Each team got past the first round in 5 games. However the Timberwolves looked much sharper in doing so as the Kings continued to struggle on defense while beating the Mavericks who have yet to figure out the concept of defense. Look for this series to be a battle as KG is the difference maker in 7 games.

The only concern for the Pacers will be rust as by the time this series tips off they would have been off nearly two weeks. However the Heat will be tired after going 7 and will not provide that big of challenge as the Pacers advance to the Conference Finals easily in 5 games, with the Heat lucky just to win 1 game.

This may just be the true NBA Finals this year as the teams that have won the last 5 Championship meet up. Both teams looked strong in the first round with the Lakers winning the close games with the ice water in the veins of a true champion. This one will go back and forth but in the end the Lakers fab 4 will be the difference.

Last year the Nets made quick work of the Pistons sweeping them four straight in the Eastern Finals. However this year the Pistons are a stronger team, as the Nets have looked shaky at times. The key here will be Rasheed Wallace who always gives the Nets fits and will be the reason the Pistons win in 7.
