4caster Frank's Weekly Picks

Last Week: 8-8 .500
Season Total: 91-101 .474

Packers 28 Bears 24

With the injury to Brett Favre the Packers know every game is a struggle, and unless they get a great game from Ahman Green they could be in trouble. The Bears meanwhile have played better as of late. The Pack get a great game out of Green but still need to sweat it out at then end.

Ravens 20 Bengals 10

With the AFC Northern Division Title possibly on the line Ravens LB Ray Lewis who is having an MVP type year is not going to let his team pass up a huge opportunity at home, expect the Ravens Defense to come up big as Lewis has another huge game.

Eagles 24 Cowboys 13

When last these two teams met the Cowboys won a close one in Dallas to establish a 2 game lead over the struggling Eagles. Since then the Eagles have not lost and now have a 1 game lead over a Cowboys team that has comeback to reality. Expect both trends to continue as the Eagles win big.

Jaguars 20 Texans 9

Both these teams have played much better as of late after struggling through the entire season. When these two faced off in Houston the Texans needed a last second gamble to win. Now the Jaguars defense is even tougher as they win their 2nd straight game.

Titans 34 Colts 30

Game of the Week: With both teams at 9-3 this game is likely the difference between a division title and at least 1 home game, and a Wild Card and a tough road to the Super Bowl. After coming up short in a big game last week Peyton Manning keeps his reputation alive again this week as the Colts fall again.

Steelers 17 Raiders 10

In a battle of disappointing defending division champions battling to stay out of last place expect the Steelers to hold the upper hand playing a Raiders team that is winless on the road this season.

Lions 23 Chargers 17

Stinker of the Week: In a pointless battle between two terrible teams this game is almost punishment for the fans that have to watch it. Expect the Lions to win their second straight as the Chargers find a way to lose again.

Seahawks 30 Vikings 27

After starting the season like a house on fire both teams have struggled with the Seahawks problems coming on the road. Look for the Seahawks to pull it out in the end as the Vikings lose for the 6th time in 7 games.

Saints 24 Buccaneers 20

Last season on the way to winning the Super Bowl the Bucs were beaten by the Saints twice. Now at 5-7 and with the playoffs out of the question the Bucs are a far cry from last year’s team, as the Saints win on a late drive against a Bucs team that somewhere lost the hunger.

Redskins 20 Giants 10

The Giants season continues its downward spiral as they are dominated at home by a mediocre Redskins team they are used to dominating themselves as the countdown until Giants Coach Jim Fassell is fired continues.

49ers 24 Cardinals 17

The 49ers have played much better on the road this season then they have on the road, and they should be able to win again this weekend. However they are not 10 points better then anyone especially the Cardinals who beat them in Arizona earlier this year.

Dolphins 27 Patriots 17

Over the last 5 quarters the Dolphins offense is playing at a higher level spurred on by the return of QB Jay Fiedler, the trend will continue as the Dolphins end the Patriots winning streak keeping alive their hopes for a Division Title.

Jets 24 Bills 13

Bills QB Drew Bledsoe enduring a disappointing year has historically struggled against the Jets. That trend will continue as the Jets coming off a solid Monday Night win over the Titans continue to finish strong.

Chiefs 27 Broncos 24

The Broncos continue to disappoint when faced with adversity as they lose a key game to the Chiefs at home, as the Chiefs clinch the West and knock the Broncos playoff hopes on life support in the process.

Falcons 24 Panthers 20

The return of QB Michael Vick may be too late to salvage the Falcons disastrous season, but he should be able to restore some hope for next year as he wins his first start in primetime against the first place Panthers.

Browns 28 Rams 17

Upset of the Week: The Rams have always struggled over the past few seasons on grass and in cold weather on Monday Night they will face both as the struggles of QB Marc Bulger finally catches up to them in a stunning loss to the Browns.
