With the firing of Coach Dan Reeves the Falcons are clearly looking ahead to next year, while hoping QB Michael Vick finishes the season on a strong note. Vick will have a good game but the Colts will roll over the Falcons.
The Titans coming off 2 straight losses will be looking to rebound in a big way against the Bills. Once again Steve McNair is questionable which means he will pass for at least 250 yards as the Titans win easily.
The Lions may in fact be king of the jungle but they are far from being king of the road as they tie the record for the longest road losing streak at 23 by being blown out in Arrowhead Stadium, as the Chiefs try to get back on track after being blown out in Denver.
The Texans are banged up at QB and RB, it’s hard to score when you don’t have 1 let alone both. Expect the Bucs defense to feast all day as they blank the Texans to climb back to .500.
The Patriots have not allowed a TD at home in 13 quarters expect to see that trend to continue as they overwhelm rookie QB Byron Leftwich ending the Jaguars modest 2 game winning streak, while moving close to Home Field Advantage.
With the Bears starting rookie QB Rex Grossman starting for the Bears the Vikings should feast on the Bears more then hunters in New Jersey as they will not have to deal with moronic protesters.
Jets QB Chad Pennington oughta be able to have a field day throwing against the Steelers soft secondary as the Jets to try to end the season on a strong note, while spoiling everyone else’s playoff hopes.
At home the 49ers have looked like their glorious teams of the past, while on the road the have looked like the 2-14 teams of the late 70’s. Entering the Bengals den expect them to struggle again as the Bengals keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Rams have been on a roll but each game they have won has been close, expect this one to be close too as the NFC West is on the line. Expect a big game from Seahawks QB matt Hasslebeck, but in the end Marshall Faulk will be the difference for the Rams.
The Ravens should be able to beat the struggling Raiders, but it won’t be without a struggle, as they will need overtime and another dramatic Matt Stover Field Goal.
The Browns have not been able to decide on a starting QB all year, as their 4-9 record proves once again if you have 2 starting Quarterbacks you don’t have any. Expect the Broncos to roll as RB Clinton Portis gets stronger as the season goes on.
On a 3-game losing streak the Panthers need just 1 win to clinch the NFC South. Luckily for them they are facing the cure for all losing streaks the Arizona Cardinals. However, on the road it could be a struggle, as the Cards cover.
Upset of the Week: The Redskins have played better as of late and are facing the hated Cowboys at home. Though the playoffs are out of the picture nothing would please fans in Washington more then the Redskins hurting the Cowboys playoff hopes.
The Packers almost need to run the table to get into the postseason, facing a team as bad as the Chargers they can not allow another let down like they did in Arizona and Detroit earlier this year.
Stinker of the Week: The sinking Giants in the midst of a lost season will not win another game this season, as their losing streak will hit 6 in New Orleans as they are held to just 7 points for the third week in a row.
Game of the Week: The Dolphins desperately need this game to keep their playoff hopes alive. Facing the Eagles it wont be easy. However, the Dolphins always save their best for Monday Night, where they have won more times then any other NFL franchise.
