Game of the Week: Determined to take the next step the Colts will be out to make an early statement as the NFL kicks the season off in Foxoboro. Look for Peyton Manning to have a big game as the Colts get the road upset.

Bills 21 Jaguars 17

The Bills coming off a terrible finish will be looking to get their season off on the right foot, and facing a young Jaguar team at home they should be able to win, although it will be close through out.

Lions 27 Bears 17

Upset of the Week: Entering with a 24-game road losing streak the Lions will be out to show that this year they are a different and the will begin things by winning their first road game since 2000 in impressive fashion over the Bears.

Browns 20 Ravens 17

With a new offense led by Jeff Garcia the Browns will be looking to avenge two blow out losses last season while showing they are a force to be reckoned with in the AFC North by winning the game with a late Phil Dawson field goal.

Texans 24 Chargers 13

Two years ago the Texans won their very first becoming the 2nd expansion team to win their first ever games. Last year they ended the Dolphins 11 year opening week winning streak, they may not win allot but they know how to start the season with a win.

Titans 20 Dolphins 9

Even with Ricky Williams the Dolphins offense struggled at times, now without their leading rusher the Dolphins offense will look stuck in neutral especially against good defensive teams like the Titans.

Seahawks 34 Saints 17

In a year of great expectations the Seahawks will be looking to start the season off in a big way. After struggling on the road last year they will also be out to show they can win anywhere as they take the Saints to the woodshed.

Jets 24 Bengals 10

Making his first NFL start it will be hard not to expect Bengals QB Carson Palmer to be nervous, while the Jets who had a solid preseason will be looking to get off to a good start after losing their first 4 games last year.

Steelers 21 Raiders 13

In a match up of teams looking to rebound off disappointing seasons look for the Steelers to have the edge with the home field in this classic match up featuring a Raiders team filled with stars of yesteryear.

Rams 31 Cardinals 17

As the sun rises is in the East and sets in the West, as sure as the NFL season begins in the summer and ends in the winter the Cardinals will lose, and lose allot and by allot as they return to one of their former cities to start another losing season.

Redskins 20 Buccaneers 16

In his first game in 12 years just the presence of Hall of Fame Coach Joe Gibbs will be enough to fire up the crowd at Fed Ex Field as the Redskins get their season off to a good start with a solid win over the Buccaneers.

Vikings 30 Cowboys 20

The Cowboys start the season in Minnesota a hard place for any road team to win, look for Daunte Cullpepper and Randy Moss to have a big day as the Vikings try to erase the bitter taste from last year’s collapse.

Eagles 34 Giants 6

The Eagles 2004 debut with the addition of All-Pros Terrell Owens and Jevon Kearse with a rivalry game against the New York Giants. Expect the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field to be buzzing as the Eagles fly high with an easy win.

Falcons 38 49ers 17

After a shaky preseason Falcons QB Michael Vick will be looking to get off to a good start, and facing the 49ers gives him the perfect patsy, as the Falcons and Vick get off to a good start as Jim Mora Jr. beats his old team in his first game as head coach.

Broncos 28 Chiefs 24

For the Chiefs no place has brought more pain in recent years then Denver, getting their annual trip to Denver out of the way early is good for the long run but for week 1 it means 1-0 as the Broncos win a close one.

Panthers 24 Packers 13

The Panthers were on the prowl all preseason as the only NFL team to go 4-0, they will continue their momentum as they beat the Packers in a Monday Night Opener which shows the entire Nation last year was not a fluke.
