Lightning in 5
The Islanders may have won the season series in this match up, but in the playoffs with everything on the line the Lightning are just too good to slip up against a mediocre Islanders team lucky to be in the playoffs.
Blues in 6
Led by Chris Osgood the Blues finished the season on a strong note look for it continue as they get the upset over the Sharks who will miss Marco Sturm, who had several big games against the Blues this year.
Bruins in 5
The Canadiens are entering the playoffs by losing 5 of their last 6 not the direction you want to be heading in. Look for Bruins super Rookie Andrew Raycroft to shut down the Habs as the Bruins cruise in 5.
Flames in 7
The Canucks won the Division, but the Flames have the biggest advantage in goalie Miikka Kiprusoff who will make the difference in this series as the Flames win their first playoff series in 15 years.
Devils in 7
The Devils have the Flyers number in the playoffs and have a habit of winning big games in Philly. Look for the trend to continue as Captain Scott Stevens returns late in the series as the Devils win in 7.
Stars in 5
The Avalanche are entering the playoffs struggling and hurting, two combinations that never add up to success. Look for the Stars to win the relatively easily as slumping Avalanche go down quietly.
Maple Leafs in 5
This is quickly developing into one of the best rivalries in the NHL. However, with Goalie Patrick Lalime hurting the Senators will be lucky just to win one games as the Leafs look poised for a long playoff run.
