A 15 Seed In The Last 16

On Saturday night Saint Peter’s of Jersey City, New Jersey kept marching as they beat the 7 seed, Murray St. Racer’s 70-60.

It’s the first time the Peacock’s have been to the Sweet 16 in school history.  The small school with about 2,300 undergraduate students have become the third 15 seed in NCAA history to reach the round of 16.

The underdog will now await their fate as Texas and Purdue square off on Sunday.  The winner will surely be a heavy favorite on March 25th vs. The Peacocks, but for now Saint Peter’s can still dance.
