One Year Later
One year ago, the sports world came to a sudden stop when Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for COVID. The whole country was shutting down as there were no sports for four months. The NCAA Tournament was wiped out, the NBA and NHL resumed in July using bubbles, while MLB played a truncated bizarre 60-game season. COVID is still a reality as most arenas are at heavily limited capacities, with each league testing players regularly. However, as the vaccine is handed out and the numbers set soon, more could be open, and normalcy can return.
