Warriors One Step Closer
On Monday night at the Chase Center the Golden State Warriors took a 3-2 series lead in the NBA Finals. Behind Canadian International, Andrew Wiggins’ 26 points and 13 rebounds, the Warriors snuck by the Celtics without the prototypical Steph Curry performance.
Boston was unable to hold the slim lead they grasped to in the third quarter. In a game that feels like spells the destination of the series, the Celtics weren’t able to capitalize on Curry’s 0-9 from behind the arc shooting night.
Jayson Tatum’s 27 point and 10 rebound night lacked moments for the big occasion, the outcome leaving Boston with back to back losses for the first time during this postseason. Now with the series shifting back to the TD Garden, the Celtics have to win to extend the series to a Game 7, of the Warriors will once again be crowed Champions.
