Darryl Sittler of the Toronto Maple Leafs has perhaps the most outstanding individual performance in NHL history, accounting for ten points as the Maple Leafs burry the Boston Bruins at the Maple Leaf Gardens 11-4. Sittler scores six goals with four assists for the first and thus far only ten-point game in NHL history, as he had a hat trick in the second period and a natural hat trick in the third period.
