2003 ALDS & NLDS
Yankees in 3
The Yankees have swept the season series against the Twins, 2 years in a row, totaling 13 straight games. Even though the Twins have improved their roster slightly since the last meeting in April, the Yankees still are the superior team and will once again sweep aside the Twins.
Athletics in 5
It’s the high-powered offense against the stellar pitching. In meetings like this more often then not it is the team with pitching that comes out on top. Don’t expect anything different here as the A’s extend Red Sox fans suffering by taking the series in 5 games, winning at least 1 game off the Red Sox shaky bullpen.
Braves in 5
The Cubs are rolling into the playoffs, as hopes are high in Chicago. The Cubs young guns should be able to win a few games, but in the end the veteran playoff tested Braves will come trough in the end winning the series in 5 games, as the Cubs weak bullpen is exposed.
Giants in 4
The magical run of the Marlins will come to a sudden end as they face a Giants team who came 1 win short of a World Championship last year, and looks ready to go to the series again. The Marlins should consider themselves lucky to win just 1 game in this series.
