Conference Finals

Celtics in 7

The Celtics have been unbeatable at home and terrible on the road as they have been pushed to Game 7 in each of the first two rounds posting an 8-0 record at the TD BankNorth Garden and an 0-6 record on the road. While the Pistons are a strong proven winner fully capable of winning in Boston, their not known for the home court and their defensive style may just play into the Celtics hands. Look for the series to be a close one once again as the Celtics may need to use up every inch of their home court advantage, but this time around they will need to win at least one in Detroit as the Pistons will win one in Boston. In the end it will even out and the series will go the full seven games with the Celtics doing a jig all the way to the NBA Finals.

Spurs in 6

Never doubt the championship know how of the Spurs, when the chips are down no team in the NBA is able to find a way to win better then the team dressed in black and silver. They may not be flashy, they may not be interesting, but they win, and though you may not know it by turning on Sports Center they have built themselves quite a dynasty as they sit on the verge of their fifth NBA Finals in 10 years. The Lakers are the exact opposite they had a dynasty and they flash and glitz and everything Hollywood, Kobe Bryant is one of the most recognizable faces in the NBA who courts attention, and wants to be the star. As for this series look for the quiet team to find away, as the Spurs size will give the Lakers fits, with Manu Ginobilli proving deadly from the outside as the Spurs win in six.
